This oceanfront homeowners wanted their master bath to mirror the serenity of the beach. We designed a curbless walk-in shower with wave-patterned tile, a freestanding soaking tub, and floating vanities with quartz tops. Niche shelving and a teak bench add resort-like functionality, while matte black fixtures modernize the space.
Waterproofing was critical for this high-humidity environment. We used mold-resistant materials and added a smart ventilation system to protect the investment.
The Challenger
The 1980s bathroom had a cramped fiberglass shower, carpeting (yes, carpet!), and no storage. The clients wanted an accessible, hotel-quality retreat.
The Result
Now they enjoy a wheelchair-accessible shower, heated floors, and hidden laundry chute – all wrapped in a calming palette of sea glass greens and driftwood tones.
